The body of a fallen Oklahoma Marine is brought back to Tulsa.

The remains of 29-year-old Corporal Jared Shoemaker arrived at Tulsa International Airport Tuesday night. Corporal Jared Shoemaker not only fought with the Marines in Iraq, here at home, he was a member of the Tulsa Police Department.

Tulsa Police officers escorted his body as the procession went from the airport to Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow.

Shoemaker was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq last week. He served with the Marineâ€™s anti-tank training company in Broken Arrow.

His funeral is Friday.
