OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Investigators of a deadly Labor Day weekend boat crash on Lake Texoma say witnesses report the boats were moving around 100 miles per hour when they crashed.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Captain George Green says the boats were heading toward each other when one suddenly turned left and was hit at a 45-degree angle by the second.

Five people died in collision.

Green says both boats -- the "Flash Gordon" and the "Nashville Catz" -- were capable of going up to 150 miles per hour.

The only survivor is "Nashville Catz" driver Bruce Gibson of Old Hickory, Tennessee, and Green says Gibson doesn't remember the crash. He remains hospitalized in Dallas in fair condition.

Gibson's wife, Myra, died in the crash. Also killed were Gordon and Ann Mineo of Rockwall, Texas, and Justin and Amy Lane of Little Elm, Texas, who were aboard the "Flash Gordon."

The boats were part of a game called "poker run" in which boats go to five different locations to get a playing card and the boat with the best poker hand at the end wins.
