OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma Congressman Frank Lucas will hold a hearing of his House Agriculture subcommittee to discuss the next farm bill.

The hearing will be held in El Reno on September 18th.

Lucas chairs the subcommittee that oversees conservation, rural development, research and credit. He says he wants to hear from Oklahoma farmers and ranchers who will be affected by the next farm bill.

Lucas says the comprehensive legislation being written will affect everything from commodity payments, to conservation programs, to renewable fuels incentives.

The hearing is set for 10 AM at the Redlands Community College Conference Center.
