Tulsa's downtown BOk Center won't open until summer 2008, but we're getting our first look inside.

News on 6 anchor Scott Thompson has a "suite" peek.

The BOk Center is still under construction. The only look we've had at the finished product was from scaled-down models, until Tuesday. Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor and Tulsa's Vision Builders unveiled a full-size mock-up of the BOk Center's exclusive suites.

The model is complete with granite floors, plasma TV, and plush leather theater seating. The actual suites will be about a foot wider than the model, but close enough for the city to begin giving tours to prospective buyers.

Already 19 of the 38 suites are spoken for. The city gave two more tours Tuesday afternoon, and have 5 or 6 planned for Wednesday.

The city says the suites' biggest selling point is the view. Instead of lining the top of the arena, the BOk Center's suites fill an open-air over hang, less than halfway up. Bart Boatwright with Tulsa Vision Builders: "The suite-level is very close to the floor so we've, the designer has made a very conscious attempt to make sure these seats are some of the best seats in the house."

The rest of the suites are on sale for "just" $40,000 to $50,000 a year.
