FORT PAYNE, Ala. (AP) -- An Oklahoma preacher was fined and given a suspended sentence after pleading guilty to violating Fort Payne, Alabama's noise ordinance during a tent revival.

Dwayne Blue of Tulsa was given a 24-month suspended sentence, fined $50 and ordered to pay $173 in court costs.

Blue says he pleaded guilty even though he believes all he's guilty of is praying.

He was arrested at the tent revival behind a Holiday Inn Express about 10:30 Sunday night after hotel guests complained about the noise. Police say officers went to the revival three times and arrested Blue during the third visit.

Blue and other non-denominational ministers from across the country are attending an annual ministers meeting and revival at the tent this week. The program runs through Saturday.
