US Postal inspectors in Tulsa uncovered an identity theft ring and now, they hope you can help them find three people for questioning.
A stash of social security cards, driver's licenses, credit cards and birth certificates have been recovered. Inspectors say thieves would break into cars and homes to get personal information.
They say the thieves used that information to create fake IDs, then counterfeit checks and go on shopping sprees or may have traded that information to other criminals.
US Postal Inspector Scott West: "In these rings, they use this stuff as barter tools. They might trade drugs for checks or trade drugs for credit cards, things like that."
Officials have released pictures of the three people they would like to talk with. They found their photos on some IDs that belong to other people.
If you recognize them or know where they are, call 732-6611.
