MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) _ Former Oklahoma offensive lineman J.D. Quinn is expected to enroll at Montana, a Division I-AA school where he would be eligible to play if the NCAA reinstates him.
``It looks very positive, but until he enrolls we can't comment,'' Dave Guffey, Montana's associate athletic director for media relations, said Tuesday.
Quinn, a sophomore, was dismissed from the Oklahoma football team earlier this month for receiving pay for more hours than he worked at a car dealership. Quarterback Rhett Bomar was dismissed for the same reason and has enrolled at Sam Houston State.
The 6-foot-3, 296-pound Quinn was projected to be a starting guard at Oklahoma after starting four games last season.
Quinn visited the Montana campus last Friday and declined a request for an interview by a Missoulian reporter.
