STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State will apparently have receiver Anthony Parks after all.
Parks' football career appeared to be over less than two weeks ago when doctors discovered he has only one kidney and advised him to give up the sport.
But Parks and his family met with a kidney specialist in Dallas who says the condition isn't life-threatening and Parks signed a waiver to remove OSU of liability.
Coach Mike Gundy says Parks will wear a flak jacket and might play in Saturday's season-opener against Missouri State.
