More than 1,500 Hurricane Katrina evacuees were sent to Camp Gruber after the storm.
Some of them now hope to reunite for the anniversary. An evacuee and volunteer reunion is scheduled for Tuesday night in Tulsa.
Evacuees say it's a great time for them to get together and discuss the new lives they've built in Oklahoma.
Local charities say about 800 people from Camp Gruber relocated permanently to the Tulsa area.
