WILBURTON, Okla. (AP) -- A Latimer County jury deliberated more than five hours before deadlocking in the murder trial of a Wilburton woman accused of killing her 7-month-old daughter.
Michelle Ann Barry is accused of hitting her daughter, Andrea Ann Heath, on the head in August 2003.
Authorities say it's likely Barry will be retried in February.
Barry was free on a $100,000 bail Friday.
Court documents state that an autopsy showed the baby girl suffered multiple skull fractures from two or more blows to the head from an unknown object.
Authorities say Barry tested positive for methamphetamine but denied using drugs.
Records show she acknowledged taking Valium and Lorcet and smoking marijuana.
