EDMOND, Okla. (AP) -- A groundbreaking is set for September 28th on the new Forensic Science Center for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
OSBI lab director Darrell Wilkins says work could begin on the $20-million facility as early as October.
He says bids will be opened later this month and that there's bin a lot of interest.
The 72,000-square-foot, four-story center will house lab facilities, offices and classrooms. It's scheduled to be finished by the summer of 2007.
