OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Dobson Communications Corp., a provider of cell phone service to rural and suburban areas, said Tuesday it plans to sell up to $330 million in debt to pay off all of its $299 million of outstanding notes from a previous offering.
Dobson said it intends to offer $150 million of senior floating rate notes due 2012, and $150 million of senior convertible debentures due 2025. The company also said it may sell up to another $30 million of senior convertible debt under an option granted to the initial buyers.
