They rolled into Oklahoma in the dark and in the rain, some of them sick, some with no clothes, many with no idea where they were. But since Saturday, the hurricane evacuees at Camp Gruber say things have taken a turn for the better.

The Salvation Army has set up several brand new basketball goals and even a makeshift outdoor movie theater for some nightly entertainment. Hurricane victims say they were treated poorly "before" they got to Oklahoma, but things are better now.

Hurricane victim Leo Young: "When we stepped off that bus Friday night, their arms were open from that day to this day; these people have been treating us like heaven. Its heaven here, but we had to go so far to find it."

The Red Cross is asking people to hold off on donating items for now. They have too many items, but say "cash" donations are still helpful.
