A group of Broken Arrow firefighters are in Atlanta learning about search and rescue operations. From there they'll head to remote areas of Louisiana to lend a hand.
The four firefighters left Tulsa Sunday morning on the mission requested by FEMA. The men are all cross-trained as paramedics and already have special rescue training, which they say will definitely come in handy.
They're not sure how long they'll be deployed.
