The price of gasoline in Tulsa has passed $3 per gallon and continues to climb. A check around Tulsa shows gasoline between $2.99 and $3.05 per gallon. The price at the pump jumped late Wednesday night and continued to rise on Thursday.

Outside of Tulsa, the price of gasoline is even higher. In Morris, in Okmulgee County, one station was charging $3.19 per gallon. If you put premium gas in your car or truck, you can expect to pay even more.

There are the usual things you can do to increase gas efficiency. You can decrease the drag on your car by 5 percent by taking off your bike rack or making sure your tires are filled properly.
