OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Warnings are being issued in Oklahoma about mushrooms.
Recent rains in parts of the state have produced wild mushrooms in fields and yards.
Lee Goodwin with the Oklahoma Poison Control Center says all wild mushrooms must be considered unsafe. He says parents should teach children to eat only mushrooms bought at a grocery store.
Any mushroom found near the home or garden should be destroyed.
