OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State forestry officials are issuing a Red Flag Fire Alert for four counties in southeastern Oklahoma.

Officials say continuing dry conditions has increased the fire danger in Choctaw, LeFlore, McCurtain and Pushmataha counties and the grass will ignite easily and burn rapidly.

Extreme caution is advised with any outdoor burning and no outdoor burning should be done when winds are 20 miles per hour of faster.
