One person is dead after a traffic accident near Mannford.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a car going east on state Highway 51 at a high rate of speed sideswiped a truck going the opposite direction. The car then veered in front of another westbound pick-up.

16 year old Lavondra Stubbs of Dallas died at the scene. The driver, 19-year-old Brandi Warrior of Tulsa, was flown to the hospital and is said to be stable.

No one else was hurt.
