OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A federal judge hands an Oklahoma City man a 20-year prison sentence for his role in an underage prostitution ring.

Troy Lamar Sutherland was convicted in January of transporting the girls to Oklahoma City from Blue Springs, Missouri, but he maintained his innocence Monday.

US District Judge David L. Russell said there was clear evidence that Sutherland was a pimp who victimized children.

Prosecutors said Sutherland picked up the girls -- who were ages 13, 15 and 16 -- in Wichita, Kansas, and took them to Missouri. Once there, Sutherland gave them drugs, makeup and suggestive clothing.

Sutherland was one of nine people charged in May 2004 in federal court after an FBI investigation into child sex trafficking in Oklahoma City.
