High school is history and college freshman are starting a new chapter in their lives. With the help of University of Tulsa president Steadman Upham, more than 600 freshman moved into the TU's residence halls Monday morning.
Move in day is part of TU's orientation week for new students. New students also received a welcome bag that included a t-shirt, backpack, planner and water bottle. Steadman Upham: "Its a pretty monumental day, comfortable where they're leaving their child. One of the things we like is a personal relationship, know their names, this is where it begins."
Classes start on August 22nd at TU.
