One person was killed early Sunday in an accident on Interstate-44 near Lewis.

It started when a pickup truck lost control and hit the center wall. Two people got out and a passing motorist stopped to help. That's when a man in an Oldsmobile lost control and hit all three people standing on the shoulder.

18 year old Kenneth Coleman was killed. 18 year old Lindsey Coleman is hospitalized; she is stable condition at a Tulsa hospital.

At last check, the motorist who stopped to help, 34 year old Gregory Decker was in critical condition.

The 18 year old driver of the Oldsmobile was not hurt.
