NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ An Elmore City man accused of first-degree murder is back to jail after a Cleveland County judge revoked his $25,000 bond.

Twenty-three-year-old Kristopher Lee Morphew was released on bond in December. He was taken back into custody on Friday when a judge ruled Morphew displayed a lack of respect for the court system by not showing up promptly for a Friday appointment.

He's charged with the first-degree murder in the death of Adam Baker on December 3rd.

Prosecutors say Morphew violated bond stipulations by drinking alcohol and driving on numerous occasions.

Morphew was stopped by Elmore City police and cited for transporting an open container of beer on June 5th. He was cited for driving under the influence by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper on July 20th.
