Tulsa Police found themselves in an unusual underground chase late Thursday night.

Police went to a home in east Tulsa about 11:30PM Thursday to arrest a wanted suspect.

As they arrived, the suspect tried to elude them by crawling into the storm sewer system.

Officers followed 25 year-old William Anderson into the sewer, then called in the Tulsa Fire Department to help fish him out. Anderson was removed from the sewer by rope after about three hours and he was quickly taken into custody.

Anderson was originally wanted for a parole violation out of Missouri.
