One lane of Interstate-244 near Mingo have been closed after a dump truck hit the underside of a bridge.

Crews worked for hours, trying to free the vehicle. The driver of the dump truck was headed north on Mingo when the bed of the truck began to rise.

The truck stopped suddenly when the bed wedged itself on the bridge overhead. The driver was slammed forward, but wasn't injured.

There is now a one-foot-tall hump in the bridge. Crews don't yet know the best way to repair it, or how soon it will be done.

Hazmat teams also cleaned up fluids the truck lost in the accident.
