Teens arrested after overnight Sand Springs Police chase

Two teens are in custody after a run-in with police early Tuesday morning.

Officers say the boys, ages 17 and 14, were acting suspicious while sitting in an SUV at a Sand Springs apartment complex near 65th and Charles Page Boulevard. They drove away and the officer followed.

The driver took off and the chase was on. The suspect ran off the road, flipped the SUV on its top and the boys ran away, but they were quickly caught.

Police found several car stereos and power tools inside the vehicle. Both boys suffered minor injuries.
