Nine Tulsa properties seized from the break-up of a drug ring a few years ago will be getting new owners Thursday. The US Justice Department will transfer the property deeds to Habitat for Humanity.

It's believed to be the largest donation of its kind in the country. Officials say the neighborhood where the properties were located was virtually destroyed by crack dealers.

The nine properties were once owned by Kermit Williams or some of his relatives and associates. Williams and four men were convicted in 2000 on various drug counts.
