Tulsa Police are investigating another possible highway shooting. It happened just before 5 PM Thursday along Interstate-244 near Southwest Boulevard.
The first shooting happened Tuesday evening on US Highway 75 near where it intersects with I-244 in west Tulsa.
"6 in the Morning" reporter Omar Villafranca says while on his way to Sapulpa, Chris Beavers told Tulsa Police he heard a loud noise. He pulled over to find a dent just above the passenger side window. His younger sister was the passenger. Neither of them was hurt. Beavers called Tulsa Police and they scoured the area for clues.
Police didn't find anything, but the Chris Beavers says he heard a gunshot. "Sounded like it was going off in my truck and I pulled up here and got out and that's what it was." Stephanie Beavers: "I thought at first it was a firecracker or something, I hope they catch the guy because I don't want this to happen to anyone else."
There was not a clear bullet hole in the truck as there was in Tuesday's shooting. Police aren't sure what hit the truck, but they did say the dent is in a spot where it would be hard for a rock to hit. Whatever it was also left a small tear in the door frame.
On Tuesday, a bullet hit a car. No one was hurt, but a three year old riding in the back seat was nearly hit.
Tulsa Police are not saying whether these two cases are connected.
