One person is dead following an auto pedestrian accident in Tulsa early Wednesday morning. Tulsa Police say it happened around 5 AM near 41st and Lewis.

Tulsa Police officers say a woman was driving south on Lewis when she hit a man who was walking in the middle of the road.

The victim was declared dead at the scene. His name has been released.

Police continue to investigate.
