TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Republican Tom Coburn's campaign is still working its way out of debt after a successful run to the US Senate last year.

New quarterly reports filed with the Federal Election Commission show the Oklahoma Republican with $450 of cash on hand. Three months ago, Coburm was listed with a negative balance of $73,443.

The report shows $71,000 raised by Coburn during the quarter, including $41,000 from special interest political action committees. It also lists $27,000 in refunds to contributers.

The campaign is still more than $18,000 in debt.

Coburn has also opened a separate account aimed at a possible bid for re-election in the year 2010.

That account received $35,800 in contributions last quarter, including $9,750 from political action committees.
