OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Fire destroys a family owned auto body shop and several valuable vehicles in Cleveland County.

Oklahoma City firefighters called about 3 PM Friday to Chassis Works found the building engulfed in flames.

Norman firefighters also responded to the fire at the shop, which is located in an unincorporated area of Cleveland County just north of Norman.

Jake Mitchell says he was inside an office adjacent to the garage when he heard popping noises then saw smoke coming from the shop's garage.

Mitchell says a car inside the garage caught fire and exploded and then went up.

He says a $50,000 boat, a $40,000 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, a $20,000 motorcycle and other vehicles were inside the garage.

Shop co-owner Jerry Stewart says the building was worth about 40-thousand dollars.
