BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) -- City Council members are considering placing restrictions on ownership of dangerous dogs after several dog attacks, including one that sent a woman to the hospital with bite wounds on her leg.

Ming Counterman was attacked Saturday night. A passerby came to her aid and was able to distract the animals.

There have been several dog attacks on young children in the area in recent months.
