LEON, Okla. (AP) _ A 10-year-old Arkansas boy is dead after falling from an all-terrain vehicle in southern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Jason Swint of Springdale, Arkansas, was killed in the accident on a city street in Leon in southern Love County Tuesday night.

Troopers say Swint was standing on a foot peg of the ATV when he jumped off to get his hat that had blown off while he and two others rode the vehicle.

Two 14-year-olds also on the ATV were not injured.
