Oklahoma's own Carrie Underwood is taking her success on "American Idol" and running with it. She just signed on as the new spokesperson for "Sketchers" shoes.

Carrie is discovering some of the perks of being the "American Idol". Her ad campaign begins this fall and runs through December 2006. Carrie and her fellow "American Idol" finalists got the star treatment from their fans Tuesday.

Their 2005 American Idol tour kicked off Tuesday night to a sold out crowd in Miami, Florida.
