ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A new Web survey finds Oklahoma workers are sixth in the nation in wasting time at work.
The survey by American Online and Salary-dot-com found Oklahomans who responded to the poll admit to wasting 2.7 hours per day.
Missouri ranks first with workers in that state saying they slack off 3-hours-12 minutes per day.
The survey found the top excuses for wasting time are that workers say they don't have enough work or are underpaid for the amount of work they do.
More than 44 percent say the way they waste time is personal Internet use like reading e-mail or responding to online polls. The second most popular reason is socializing with co-workers.
Other excuses including conducting personal business, running errands and just spacing out.
