OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The state Lottery Commission Thursday approved a nearly $13-million budget and say they'll use the money to get the Oklahoma lottery started by October.

The commission agreed to open a $10-million line of credit with J-P Morgan Chase, use $500,000 from Legislature and the rest of the $12.83-million budget will come from lottery revenue.

Lottery director James Scroggins says the money will be used to buy equipment and hire employees. He says scratch-off lottery tickets are on schedule to be sold by October 12th and online gaming is expected to be available by November.
