The investigation into an early Thursday morning house fire officials call suspicious. It happened about 1 AM Thursday in the 5300 block of East Second Street.

When firefighters arrived they found flames shooting out of a back bedroom window. Damage is estimated at around $70,000. No one was home at the time of the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
