The movie "Forrest Gump" inspired one man to put law school on hold and take off running across the country.
Jonathan Williams made his way through Tulsa Wednesday, following old Route 66. He says he's running across America to promote a positive attitude. He started in California camping out in a tent to rest, but once he entered the Sooner state, he started seeing the positive attitude he's promoting.
"I haven't had to camp out in Oklahoma at all because people have been opening their homes to me. I'm a complete stranger and it's unbelievable. It boggles my mind."
Williams plans to end his run in Rhode Island, hopefully by the fall.
