Nine Tulsa neighborhood groups learned Wednesday morning they had selected as part of the city’s Vision 2025 Neighborhood Enhancement projects.
City officials say 141 proposals were submitted and after several months of consideration, 9 neighborhoods were awarded funding in phase 1 of the program. [see the list below]
In all, the city of Tulsa eventually plans to spend $2-million on the Vision 2025 Neighborhood Fund. The money will pay for things like clear and visible signage in residential areas, to neighborhood entranceways or gateways.
Phase 2 of the process is expected to start later this summer.
