MIAMI, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities are awaiting results of an autopsy on a Missouri musician who was found dead in his Miami motel room over the weekend.
Police say a bandmate found 29-year-old Kenneth Hatteman at the Super Eight Motel about 8:10 Saturday morning. Hatteman's band -- the Roland Allen Blues Band -- was scheduled to play at the Quapaw Casino later that day.
Detective Todd Hicks says there were no signs of foul play. Police say Hatteman was last seen alive about 4 AM when he checked into the motel with fellow band members.
Hotel workers tried to revive him after bandmate Paul Kohler called the front desk for emergency services.
Firefighters found Hatteman wasn't breathing when they arrived.
