Two were critically injured in an accident in south Tulsa late Tuesday night, when they tried to avoid animals on the highway.

The rollover accident shut down parts of northbound and southbound US 169 at 81st Street. Tulsa Police say the driver of an SUV swerved to miss three dogs, lost control, and flipped the vehicle. Among the victims is a pregnant woman.

Tulsa Police say if an animal darts out in front of you, avoid swerving out of the way. They say swerving could make you lose control of your vehicle.
