Tulsa Police are investigating an early Tuesday morning hit and run accident near 78th Street and 73rd East Avenue. It happened around 3 o-clock Tuesday morning.

Investigators say a man driving a green SUV was spotted by a security guard driving erratically in a store parking lot near 91st and Memorial. The guard followed the driver and called authorities.

Tulsa Police say the driver then took off in a nearby neighborhood where he T-boned a Mustang parked in front of a house near South 69th Place and East 78th Place and then drove off. The owners heard the collision and went after the driver. They stopped the man a few blocks away and held him until Tulsa Police arrived.

The driver faces several charges including DUI and leaving the scene of a crime.
