An investigation into a fatal motorcycle accident late Monday night.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist missed a curve on a trail near Mannford and laid down his motorcycle. Kenneth Knight and his passenger slid into the path of oncoming traffic.

Troopers say they collided with a car. Knight died from internal injuries. His passenger suffered minor injuries.

The driver and passenger in the car were not injured.
