Frankoma Pottery in Sapulpa could reopen as early as Saturday after being sold to a Las Vegas ceramics maker.

Det Merryman is buying the long-time pottery making business and expects the sale to close Friday. The deal includes equipment, the plant and seven acres. Merryman says he'll continue producing the Frankoma Pottery that's becoming a collector's item.

He plans to hire 25 employees by the end of the month.
