Reaction is mixed to President Bush's prime time address on Iraq Tuesday night. President Bush rejected suggestions that he set a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq.
He asked for patience for Americans who question the war's painful costs. The News on 6 got local reaction from a Tulsa Peace Activist and a US Marine who served in Iraq.
Nancy Moran with the Tulsa Peace Fellowship: "It was a crime against peace. It was a war crime and I think President Bush played upon our fears."
US Marine Jonathan Gobbo: "If we can get the Iraqi National Guard to at least half of what the Marines are, than they would be able to fight any insurgents any day of the week."
US troops are continuing to train the Iraqi military and police. Officials say both sides are working side by side to try and keep the peace in Iraq.
