OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A 19-month-old girl is dead after being run over in a mobile home park in Goldsby.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says little McKenzie Norman was killed when she was struck by a pickup truck as it backed away from a residence.

The incident occurred shortly after 9 PM Sunday at the trailer park in McClain County.

Troopers say the truck was trying to back away when it stopped to allow children in the area to clear the roadway. The patrol says the truck continued to back out and ran over the toddler.

The little girl was rushed to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center trauma center, where she was pronounced dead due to massive head trauma.
