A fatal traffic accident closes a Tulsa highway late Thursday night.

It happened on eastbound I-244 near Harvard. Witnesses say a speeding car slammed into the back of a motorcycle. The motorcyclist from Talala, 43-year old Lisa Dawn Tally, died.

The driver and a passenger in the car were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers believe alcohol and drugs played a role in the accident.

The victims name has not yet been released.
