OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The head of a national organization of gay Republicans will be in Oklahoma this weekend as part of an effort to reach conservatives.

Log Cabin Republicans president Patrick Guerriero will be in Oklahoma City on Sunday.

The Log Cabin Republicans is a Washington, DC-based organization that supports gay rights and polices of inclusion in the Republican Party. The group opened its first chapter in Oklahoma this spring.
