In an instant, an Okmulgee bride's dream of a perfect wedding went up in smoke.
Tracy Mitchell spent a year and $4,000 on wedding preparations that were destroyed when her family's house caught fire. Now Good Samaritans are chipping in to make sure Tracy's wedding doesn't go down in flames.

News on 6 anchor Scott Thompson says Tracy Mitchell's wedding is scheduled for Saturday and as of Tuesday night, she didn't have a dress.

She says after her story ran on the News on 6, she got calls from Muskogee, Oklahoma City, and even Wichita from folks who wanted to donate a dress for the one that was ruined in the fire. Beshara's at 71st and Riverside in Tulsa invited Tracy up Wednesday morning to try on replacement dresses.

It didn't take long for Tracy to find the dress that would save her wedding day. "I'm so happy that I was able to get a dress within a few hours of all this happening, so I'm grateful."

She says she fell in love with the first dress she tried on Wednesday morning, but the dress she picked is still draped in plastic until her wedding day this weekend.
