OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A judge is upholding the state Health Department's decision to close a Cleveland County nursing home because of unsanitary conditions.
The attorney for the nursing home responded by calling health officials - quote - ``idiots and buffoons.''
Health officials shut down the Noble Residential Care Home after inspectors found rodent droppings in the home, urine on plates and bowls and cockroaches crawling on the clothes of residents.
Closing the home forced the relocation of 41 residents who lived there. Most of the residents are mentally disabled.
Nursing home attorney Robert Cole says the Health Department is a ``rogue agency'' and says the owners of the home will appeal.
