OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A former Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department employee is facing five felony counts of embezzlement by a public officer.
The charges were filed against Angie Hanson, who worked for the agency from December 2000 to March. There was no information about how much was embezzled.
Tourism officials say Hanson allegedly abused a state authorized purchase card.
Agency officials discovered discrepancies in Hanson's spending and turned the information over to Attorney General's office, which asked the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to look into the allegations.
The agency's executive director Robb Gray says the incident was isolated to one employee.
